13 > 15.06.2024 l Reflets sonores #3 – Belgian Federation of Electro-Acoustic Music (FeBeMe) | Chapelle de Verre (Fauquez – Be)

Reflets Sonores returns for its third edition, once again under the artistic direction of the Belgian Federation of Electroacoustic Music. This year’s edition offers three evenings of unique sonic creations, set in a heritage site as rare as it is inspiring.

The Glass Chapel of Fauquez, entirely adorned in marbrite, provides a stunning setting for deep listening, experimentation, and contemplation. For the occasion, an acousmonium — a thirty-loudspeaker sound orchestra — will be installed, inviting audiences into a rich and immersive listening experience. The program features electroacoustic and acousmatic music, live electronics, modular synthesis, and hybrid compositions combining saxophone, Tibetan bowls, percussion, and hurdy-gurdy.

On Sunday, three live performances will resonate in memory and tribute to Philippe Franck, director of Transcultures, who passed away in late January 2025.

The vibrant program also includes artist talks and free-access audiovisual installations, offering multiple ways to engage with the artists and their sound worlds.
