Result of collaboration between Art Zoyd (music creation center), le phénix (Valenciennes), le manège.mons, Transcultures in the framework of the platform for innovative music Espace(s) Son(s) Hainaut(s), Electronic landscapes is an evening dedicated to the creative diversity of the electro sounds today. Electronic live performance, interactive installation, dj set… around the show “Il se trouve que les oreilles n’ont pas de paupières” (after the book La haine de la musique by Pascal Quignard, with comedian Pierre Baux and Garth Nox on viola) by Benjamin Dupé composer associated to le phénix. Krouchi Floy (Bass Holograms) reinvents the “electronic” raga alone with her bass, surrounded by speakers.
Gauthier Keyaerts plays with the silky images of François Zajéga and his electro-organic sounds in Fragments # 43-44 before Next Baxter’ groovy hybrid mix. This event will also be the occasion of the launch the new City Sonic compilation (on the Transonic label) with a selection of pieces presented in the 2012, 2013 and 2014 editions.
