The Nuits du Beau Tas celebrate open contemporary music and the re-discovery of great composers such as Morton Feldman and Gavin Bryars (The Sinking of the Titanic) interpreted by the Express string 4tet, but also unclassifiable young talents such as Roxane Metayer, musician/visual artist based in Brussels (proposed by Transcultures), whose violin oscillates between “early minimalism” and heady post-folk.
