Production manager
After a master degree in Arts and cultural management in Brussels and Istanbul Marie Scheins worked on the production of several events in Belgium and abroad – mostly in the alternative scene, in militant spheres and for experimental and avant-garde music festivals.
As a queer and feminist activist Marie is interested in topics such as the representation of minorities in the art field, the modalities and possibilities of a political dancefloor and how to (re)think party spaces .
Marie Scheins is also the co-founder of +32, a collective about alternative electronic music and queer cultures. She is also involved in the collective Naast Monique, a new queer collective space in Brussels.
