08-06-2014 – A pentacostal evening Aki Onda + Antoine Chessex + films

For another Monday Pentecost night, Eastern Belgium at night in complicity with Transcultures invites Antoine Chessex, a fascinating Swiss saxophonist (who has worked with many adventurous artists such as Maja Ratkje Jerome Noetinger, Kasper T. Toeplitz, Lasse Marhaug …) whose compositions are characterized by a strong textural density and often result in masses of sound exploring the physical dimensions of sound and space.

This special event also features Aki Onda, famous Japanese artist, pionner-expert in recordings /inventive misappropriations of audio cassettes and walkmans with his latest project “Cassette Memories.” Aki Onda creates live sound collages and surprising textures.
