08 > 10.2016 – Alba G Corral + Dariusz Makaruk – Pépinières Residency @ Mons

In the framework of the MAP program initiated by the European Pépinières for young artists, Transcultures welcomes in residence (from August to October in Mons), with the support of Ministry of Culture of the Federation Wallonia-Brussels, visual/digital artist Alba G Corral (Spain) and the digital artist, composer/sound designer Dariusz Makaruk (Poland). Together they will develop their ongoing collaborative live project ‘Dimension N’.

A first step of this AV performance has received in June 2016, the Jury Prize of Festvial Bains Numériques at Enghien-les-Bains (France). A new step of this multimedia performance that focuses on the interaction between the performers who use, live, interactive sound and image control systems highlighting the digital pictorial gesture of Alba G Corral and the cinematic composition of Dariusz Makaruk, will be shown first at the opening of City Sonic festival in Mons on September 14th at Frigo (site of the former slaughterhouse).
