16>21.05.2017 – Alexis Choplin & Jason Van Gulick @ Festival Le Magnifique Society

The renewed festival of Reims present this year a programme of concerts (from Air to Sleaford Mods) and installations. Among them, the works of Alexis Choplin ‘Uninvisible’ (a flow of water subjected to low sound and luminous frequencies producing a wave choreography induced by a sonic signal) and Jason Van Gulick ‘Ad Libitum 40-208’ (metronomes, embedded in sound boxes, placed on pedestals or on the floor, scattered in the architectural space to chant their own temporality, acting on the acoustics of the place) both produced by Transcultures and created at Festival City Sonic in 2015 (part of Mons, European Capital of Culture), which will also perform on May 16 at Cryptoportique.
