Since the beginning of the 1980s, Alain Wergifosse (Barcelona-Liège) has been amplifying objects, manipulating sounds and feedback electronically and composing interactive experimental videos & devices. He has participated, since Barcelona, ​​in countless projects of improvisation and sound performance like the power trio oBmuz, live electronics solo concerts collaborating with many sound and multimedia artists including Nad Spiro, Eli Gras, Zbigniev Karkovski or Francisco Lopez.

He composed the music and sound interactions of most of the performances of Marcel.lí Antúnez (ex Fura dels Baus) and directed some film scores such as “Small Anatomy of the Image” by Olivier Smolders. In September 2017, the City Sonic Festival (Charleroi) invited him to show several new installations and performances after a residency at Le Vecteur hosted by Transcultures.

As part of the ‘Digital and sound emergencies’ program, coordinated by Transcultures and the Mons Arts School – Arts2, Alain Wergifosse will present his pioneering approach to create inventive sound and image resonances and modulations.
