House of Vibes is the first edition of a festival conceived as a sonic and artistic journey inside the former Demeuldre-Coché Manufacture, an emblematic landmark of Brussels’ heritage. Once a porcelain production site and now transformed by Talk C.E.C into a hybrid cultural space, the building still carries the memory of workshop know-how, artisanal gestures and a material history that resonates directly with vinyl culture.

On 9 and 10 May 2026, Talk C.E.C and Vollenbak will unfold two days of DJ sets, listening sessions, talks and an exhibition dedicated to vinyl, approached not only as a musical object, but also as an aesthetic, sensory and emotional medium. At a time when cultural experience is becoming increasingly dematerialised, House of Vibes brings physical encounter, transmission and human connection back to the centre.

In this history-filled setting, vinyl becomes the starting point for a broader reflection on the links between sound, image, memory, technical gestures and contemporary creation. The festival brings together artists, DJs, collectives, music professionals and audiences in a hybrid format, somewhere between soft clubbing, a learning space and a place for dialogue.

Talk C.E.C. - Créateur d’Expériences Culturelles

Multidisciplinary cultural space Talk C.E.C. is located in the heart of Brussels, inside the former Demeuldre-Coché Manufacture, a listed heritage building. Born from a family venture led by a curator and an antiques dealer, the project was built around a dual gesture: preserving the soul of a historic site while reactivating it as a living space for creation, encounter and events.

More than an art gallery or a venue for private hire, Talk C.E.C defines itself as a space for dialogue and synergies between disciplines. Visual arts, music, science, heritage, culture and contemporary issues are approached as porous fields, able to generate shared experiences rather than compartmentalised formats.

The venue hosts exhibitions as well as cultural, artistic, institutional and private events, with particular attention paid to the audience experience, the quality of the setting and the creation of meaningful connections. Its mission rests on a simple idea: to make every event a situated, embodied moment, where attention to detail, human connection and meaning matter more than the mere occupation of a space.

Within the context of House of Vibes, Talk C.E.C therefore appears as a coherent setting: a building charged with memory, yet conceived from the present as a platform for cultural experiences, transmission and encounters.

Vollenbak Brussels

An independent media platform and event organisation based in Brussels, Vollenbak Brussels is dedicated to electronic music scenes, their artists and the communities that keep them alive. The project brings together content production, video formats, interviews, mixes, DJ sets and events, with a particular focus on emerging talents from the Belgian scene.

Both a broadcasting platform and a space for encounter, Vollenbak seeks to document a musical culture in motion, while also bringing it into physical existence through events designed as spaces for expression, sharing and connection. Its approach is built around a dual gesture: giving visibility to artists, labels and collectives, and rebuilding links around musical practices, between digital culture and analogue experience.

Within the context of House of Vibes, Vollenbak acts as a programming and artistic direction partner, extending its work around electronic music, artist networking and the creation of immersive experiences. The collective brings a situated reading of the Brussels scene: active, hybrid, community-driven, and attentive not only to sounds themselves, but also to the conditions in which they circulate.
