Chorus Quot Fundit’ is singing synthesis application developped by Nicolas d’Alessandro (Hovertone) for mobile devices that seeks to capture the experience of a choir and bring it into the mobile space. The installation consists of a sequence of smartphones arranged in the room on pedestals.
Every smartphone is a full-fledged musical instrument , the result of a long process of research and development in digital instruments . Each smartphone, when touched, generates a singing voice , albeit artificial, but very realistic and expressive .
These lyrical and ethereal voice outputs of a technology object , are disturbing and confusing humanity. The visitor ‘s fingertips, brought to life this avatar .
