After a very stimulating edition on April 24, the Nuits du Beau Tas festival returns, once again supported by Transcultures, for its fifteenth edition in October of this year.
Still led by its initiator
Pierre-Jean Vranken, this libertarian, friendly, unifying and intimate audio event once again offers a programme that presents both Belgian and international artists, international references (including, for this edition, maximalist composer Charlemagne Palestine and Czech violonist-vocalist Iva Bittova), reference labels (two hybrid evenings proposed by Sub Rosa) and discoveries crossing various currents – electronic, post rock, contemporary classical, sound poetry…
It is also an opportunity to (re)discover Brussels places that are both always precious and fragile, which are active partners and welcoming settings for different forms of adventurous sound creation.

Milan Kundera, compatriote d’Iva Bittová, a écrit que les « petites nations » d’Europe forment une autre Europe. La violoniste-chanteuse est peut-être une « petite nation » tchèque, mais sa vision du monde musicale et sa créativité visionnaire ne connaissent pas de frontières. Ses pouvoirs de créativité spontanée sont époustouflants.
