Article | Interview with multimedia artist Rafael (Be) and launch of Unit Academia (Seoul)

The Belgian artist, based in the Republic of Korea for over 10 years and working between South Korea and Belgium, and in residency at Transcultures Belgium in March 2023, responded to Philippe Franck’s questions regarding the launch of a new series of creative encounters, the Unit Academia, as well as various groundbreaking events dedicated to experimental arts that he recently initiated in Seoul. These events serve as genuine platforms for visibility and intersections for the alternative Korean artistic scene and also open up internationally (France, Belgium, Japan…).

The Unit Academia #1 welcome a first series of artists and cultural organizers on March 29, 2024, at the East Atelier Gallery in Seoul.
